(ONLINE) AODA Basics Course
Course is 4 weeks — February 1 to February 28, 2017
Online 24/7 from any Internet-enabled device using the Moodle platform
At the conclusion of this course, participants in this online learning opportunity will:
- Know the signs and symptoms of adolescent alcohol and drug use
- Understand the disease concept for alcohol and how the family dynamics play out in schools
- Explain how alcohol affects the adolescent brain
- Research the statistical relationship between students alcohol and drug use and academic achievement
- Research and report on one evidence based program used as an intervention program to deal with student risk behavior
