Anne has been in K-12 education for 18 years at all levels: elementary, middle and high school. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Minnesota State University, Mankato, a Master Degree in Education from UW- Eau Claire and received her school counseling certification from UW-Stout. Anne has served as a school psychologist, school counselor and mental health coordinator in rural districts throughout Wisconsin. She has supported schools and districts by facilitating change through the exploration and systemic implementation of comprehensive mental health, school climate, and social emotional supports. For the past six years, Anne has been a Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA) Instructor and serves as part of the YMHFA State Cadre of Instructors. Anne is committed to early intervention, partnering with staff and community to build capacity, and ensuring that ALL students have access to a continuum of supports for success.
Anne and her husband live in northwestern Wisconsin and have four adult children and two grandchildren. Anne enjoys hiking, walking regularly, trying new recipes and spending time at her cabin in the La Crosse area kayaking, boating and viewing wildlife.
