Stacey Starke has been in education since 2006 as a cross-categorical special education teacher. Throughout her journey she has worked in Howard-Suamico School District, Lausanne Collegiate Lower School, and Sun Prairie Area School District. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree from Carroll College in Psychology and a Master’s Degree from University of Wisconsin--Oshkosh in Special Education. In the past two years she has added to her licensure and completed the Director of Special Education and Pupil Services Certification & Licensure Program through University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and her Principal License through St. Mary’s University--eduCATE Wisconsin. Throughout her time in Sun Prairie Area School District she has supported marrying beliefs of universal trauma sensitive schools WITH universal social and emotional learning WITH Tier 1 PBIS WITH personalized learning, all through an equity lens. She believes that every student and staff deserves to feel safe academically, socially, physically and emotionally at school.
Stacey lives in Sun Prairie with her husband, daughter (11y) and son (9y) but loves to travel Up North to her hometown of Minocqua, WI during all four seasons of the year. She is an avid Packer’s fan and loves watching UW Basketball and UW Volleyball.
