(ONLINE) AODA Basics Course
Course is 4 weeks — June 1 to June 29, 2017

**Online 24/7 from any Internet-enabled device using the Moodle platform**

At the conclusion of this course, participants in this online learning opportunity will:

• Know the signs and symptoms of adolescent alcohol and drug use
• Understand the disease concept for alcohol and how the family dynamics play out in schools
• Explain how alcohol affects the adolescent brain
• Research the statistical relationship between students alcohol and drug use and academic achievement
• Research and report on one evidence based program used as an intervention program to deal with student risk behavior
