Wisconsin Resources:
Partnering organizations and other leaders in the field have compiled the following additional lists of resources:
- Center to Improve Social and Emotional Learning and School Safety. The Center has compiled this list of external, individual resources to support schools in advancing racial justice and creating more equitable systems.
- Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning (CASEL)’s SEL as a Lever for Equity resources.
- Greater Good in Education’s Resources to Support Anti-Racist Learning
- The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) offers a collection of resources focusing on Anti-Bias Tools & Strategies. Additionally, the ADL has a large collection of free lessons exploring historical and current events topics through the lens of diversity, bias and social justice.
- COVID-19 Education Coalition Centering Equity working group’s Questions for Proactive and Equitable Educational Implementation and Associated Resources. This pair of guides includes (1) questions to guide implementation and (2) associated resources for serving diverse learners, including resources serving specific groups of learners (e.g., by race/ethnicity, students in the foster care system, students who are homeless, and students with disabilities).
- The BELE Network has produced a Framework for Equitable Learning Environments along with a Building Equitable Learning Environments Library of resources.
- San Diego County Office of Education (SDCOE) has curated a list of Equity Resources for school leaders and educators, including for serving specific populations, teaching about race and racism, and creating more equitable systems.

Resources for Teaching Black History:
Black history podcasts:
- Historically Black: This podcast comes from the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture.
- Black History Buff: Highlighting people and stories within Black history across the African Diaspora, creator Kur Lewis developed the podcast as a way to teach his son about Black history. This short podcast averages 10 to 20 minutes per episode.
- Witness Black History: Created by the BBC, this series features interviews with people who lived through Black history both in the United States and abroad.
- Black History Year: Developed by the nonprofit Pushback, this podcast focuses on marginalized Black histories and topics. Each episode is three minutes.
- Humanity Archive: Produced by Jermaine Fowler, this podcast exposes untold and underexposed historical narratives.
