Jackie has been a CESA #6 employee for the past 26 years, starting her career as a School Social Worker and AODA coordinator for districts in the region. In 1990 she became the Wisconsin ATOD Education Network facilitator for the CESA #6 region. Currently, Jackie has a variety of responsibilities. She is the Wisconsin Safe & Healthy Schools Center Coordinator for CESAs #2, #3, and #6; the CESA #6 Safe & Healthy Schools and Communities Network Coordinator; the CESA #6 McKinney Vento Education for Homeless Children and Youth Consortium Coordinator, the CESA #6 New Employee Support Program Coordinator; is certified Trauma and Loss Schools Specialist, is a QPR trainer; teaches graduate courses for UW-Oshkosh, and Viterbo University; consults on mental health issues and suicide prevention; and in her spare time writes grants to continue funding the projects and programs she has created.
Jackie works with districts to use data to make decisions on the best practices to implement. In addition, she is SWIS trained, YRBS and other evaluative tools trained. She has been a TRIBES trainer for 18 years and knows that the Tribes process works well anywhere! Jackie is the proud parent of three adult children and has one grandchild. She loves to garden, enjoys various arts, cooking and music.
