Jodi has spent the past 30 years working in the public service and education industries designing, developing, and implementing equitable systems of support. She holds a Bachelor of Social Work degree from the University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire and a Master of Science degree in School Counseling from the University of Wisconsin- Stout. In her 17 years in education, Jodi has worked as an elementary school counselor, PBIS coach (internal/external), and PBIS District Coordinator. Most recently she served as a district Mental Health Coordinator, where she used her knowledge of the Wisconsin School Mental Health Framework, Social Emotional Learning Competencies, and Trauma Sensitive Practices to provide coaching and training to staff. She understands that the equity gaps created by our systems do not meet the needs of all students and works tirelessly to improve how the adults work within those systems to support the whole child. Additionally, Jodi has collaborated with community leaders, led by the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire to create and implement a Circles of Change program which facilitates dialogue circles on equity, diversity, and inclusion to give participants voice, and most importantly to take action in shaping a diverse community in the larger Eau Claire area. She is excited to join the WCRS team and looks forward to continuing her work with coaching schools.
Jodi lives in Eau Claire with her husband. They have two adult children and one granddaughter. She enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and scrapbooking all of those cherished memories.
